SCHOOLS’ PREFECT GATHER IN SALEM UNIVERSITY, NIGERIA FOR TRAINING ON TIME MANAGEMENT
Last week Friday, January 22, 2021, the campus of Salem University, Nigeria was wearing different colours yet reflecting ebullient atmosphere, as Prefects of Secondary Schools in Lokoja-the Kogi State capital gathered at the Library Complex of the prestigious University, for training on time management.
The event, which was organised by the college of Natural and Applied Sciences (CNAS), Salem University, Nigeria in collaboration with DADEDA Educare Consult, attracted dignitaries among whom are Hon. Dr. Ahmed Attah, who is a former Special Adviser on Health Matters to Governor Yahaya Bello and the immediate past Chief Medical Director, Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja.
The event had Dr. Ebune Ojochide and Dr. G.U. Ozulu as guest Speakers, as the following topics were extensively discussed: Factual and objective truth about the use & abuse of leadership, Time – Balancing Academic, Leadership & Extra-Curricular Activities, Strategies for better time management, Role of Salem University in Global Leadership Production.
Participants at the event described it as timely, interesting and rewarding.
Highlight of the event was a facility tour on the University campus.
