Philosophy of the College

The following articles enunciate the fundamental beliefs/ philosophy on which the College of Management and Social Sciences is founded:

  • That the universe in all its dimensions, known or yet to be discovered, is not accident or chance event, but a product of Divine Labour expressed in the awesome act of Creation.
  • That these beings are created by God in His Image sand are designated custodians and stewards of Creation and are mirrors or reflections of His Glory.
  • That this Creator known by His revealed names as JEHOVAH ADONI, the Lord, and Master of the Universe, has revealed His Divine purpose in the Hold Scriptures called “The Bible”, which we attest to be the Inerrant Inspired World of God.
  • That the Bible is the final authority in all matters and the Ultimate measure of truth in all issues temporal, eternal or spiritual.
  • That because of Man’s wilful disobedience, sin came into the world thus setting in motion man’s history of conflict, chaos, disorder, disease, and physical and spiritual death.
  • That God being Supremely Loving, Omnipresent, and Omniscient, prepared a plan of salvation through the Sub-statutoryDeath and Resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ – Who through being God, was manifested as a Man with a physical body – a body on which was laid the sins of all human beings, past, present, and future. This same body was resurrected as a demonstration of God’s justification of man and a promise of an eternal and sinless life in a new world where Jesus will reign as Lord and where God, the Father, will dwell with peoples.
  • That God, the earth, and its human beings to (a) conquer and manage the earth and its resources; (b) pursue justice and mercy; (c) worship God in humility and service.

In the pursuit of the above, and devoid of atheistic influences, the College of Management and Social Science shall operate as an instrument for:

  1. Knowing the Divine Power of God expressed in Creation.
  2. Better managing the resources and riches of God’s Creation.
  3. Improve human relationships; and
  4. Solving problems of organizing material and human resources.
