Philosophy of the Programme: The underlying philosophy of the B.Sc. IRD Degree Programme, is to produce competent and confident intellectuals with well developed minds, who can make meaningful contributions to the political and socioeconomic development of Nigeria, Africa, and the entire world, as well as contribute meaningfully in the formulation of a viable foreign policy for Nigeria as she strives leadership role in Africa. Admission Requirements: Candidates seeking admission into Year B.Sc. International Relations and Diplomacy Programme require 5 O’ Level credits at not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Government and any two of Economics, Christian Religious Knowledge Biology, History, Commerce, Geography and Literature in English. UTME subjects include: English Language, Mathematics, Government and any other one from Economics, Geography, CRK, History or and other Social Sciences Candidates seeking admission into Three Year (Direct Entry) B.Sc. International Relations and Diplomacy Programme require 2 A’ level credits (or its equivalent) in Government and one of Economics, English, CRK, and Geography. In addition to 5 O’ level Credit Passes; OND, NCE and related professional certificates approved by Salem University (including Salem University Diploma) may also be accepted for three-year (Direct Entry) Programme. Duration: 4years
